Barcelona Triumphs Over Real Madrid in Supercopa Final with 5-2 Victory

In a commanding performance, FC Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 5-2 in the Supercopa de España final held at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Real Madrid took an early lead with a goal from Kylian Mbappé in the 4th minute.
However, Barcelona responded decisively.
Lamine Yamal equalized in the 20th minute, followed by a penalty from Robert Lewandowski.
Raphinha and Alejandro Balde each added goals, giving Barcelona a 4-1 advantage by halftime.
Early in the second half, Raphinha scored again, extending the lead to 5-1.
Despite a red card for Barcelona’s goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny, reducing them to ten men, Real Madrid only managed a late goal from Rodrygo, concluding the match at 5-2.
This victory marks Barcelona’s 15th Supercopa de España title and the first under coach Hansi Flick.
The team’s offensive prowess and strategic execution were evident, with standout performances from a young Lamine Yama, Raphinha and Lewandowski.
Conversely, Real Madrid’s defense struggled to contain Barcelona’s dynamic attack, leading to a significant defeat in this El Clásico encounter.
