Sergio “Kun” Agüero, the legendary former Manchester City striker, is set to make a notable return to competitive soccer by participating in The Soccer Tournament (TST) 2025. Scheduled from June 4-9 in Cary, North Carolina, TST is a high-profile 7v7 competition featuring a $1 million winner-takes-all prize. 

Agüero will lead his own team, known as “Agüero Team,” comprising top talents from his Copa Potrero tournament in Argentina. This participation marks a significant return to the field for Agüero, who retired in 2021 due to health concerns. His involvement in TST 2025 has generated considerable excitement among fans and participants alike. 

The tournament boasts a diverse lineup, including returning teams such as Luís Nani’s “Nani FC” and Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham Red Dragons.
